Jonathan’s free!
December 6, 2007 by Jillian Cohan
Prosecutors will drop all charges against The Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Meyers after the actor apologized for his drunk and disorderly behavior at Dublin Airport in November.
Celebrity News Service reported today that along with a public apology, JRM said he’d make a donation to an unnamed charity in an effort to atone for his misbehavior.
Jonny Boy was charged with two counts of public drunkenness and breach of the peace Nov. 18 after he made a scene when he was denied permission to board a flight to London.
It was a rough week for the Irish actor, who had been promoting his current film, August Rush.
Two days after his arrest, Rhys Meyers’ mother passed away at age 53, hours after being admitted to a hospital in Cork, Ireland.
