Dexter exec takes the Dirty Sexy Money
February 27, 2008 by Jillian Cohan
One of the co-executive producers of Dexter, Daniel Cerone, is jumping to ABC to lead the network’s drama Dirty Sexy Money.
In one of those “ain’t Hollywood small” coincidences, DSM stars Peter Krause, one of Michael C. Hall’s former castmates from Six Feet Under.
Hollywood Reporter says Cerone signed a larger deal with ABC Studios before the writers strike and that he’ll essentially relaunch the show, which he was attracted to for its “potential for storytelling and exploration of characters both on the light and the dark side.” Sounds like a Showtime series to me!
If Cerone can bring some of the nuance, drama and black comedy we love on the pay network down to ABC, more power to him. But if his departure sets back Dexter’s second season, as Big Screen Little Screen fears, we at Showtimefan HQ will raise one hell of a ruckus.

i think it was a smart move. this show is great. and it seems to have a very loyal and excited fan following. promotions i have seen for the show are interesting and fun…check it out
