Showtime announces January airdates for United States of Tara, Secret Diary, L Word

Sunday nights on Showtime are testosterone-fueled right now, with leading men Michael C. Hall and David Duchovny kicking ass and taking names on Dexter and Californication. Starting in January, though, Sunday will become ladies night with a triple-threat of dramas helmed by women.

Showtime announced this week that it’s pairing The United States of Tara, starring Toni Collette (pictured at left), with the final season of ensemble drama The L Word and the second season of British import Secret Diary of a Call Girl, all of which debut Jan. 18. Look out boys, here they come!
