David Duchovny ends stint in rehab for sex addiction

Mulder meets the X-Fans

The bad boy is back. David Duchovny’s lawyer told the AP today that the Californication star checked out of rehab, where he sought treatment in late August for sex addiction.

Lawyer Stanton Stein said DD successfully completed the rehab program and plans to start filming a movie soon. When news of his sex addiction broke, it spawned many “life imitates art” story lines since Duchovny’s character on Californication, writer Hank Moody, also uses sex to escape from his problems.

Whether the man will stick to the straight and narrow in real life and on screen remains to be seen. And if that “accidental cunnilingus” from the first episode is any indication, we’re in for a wild ride. Stay tuned, friends!
