On the next Californication:
- Hank finishes his now posthumous biography of Lew Ashby.
- Karen gets a great job offer.
- Mia takes off on a coast-to-coast book tour.
- Sonia delivers the baby.
- Marcy files for divorce.
- Charlie settles into his new life with Daisy, in the valley.
- Becca gets a new iPod, with an awesome playlist.
- Surfer Girl makes a cameo appearance.
That’s it for this season, folks. But Showtime signed on for a third season of Californication, so look for new episodes in 2009.
My take on what might be instore for season 3.
- Lew Ashby is a great character. I’m glad he didn’t die and I hope he stays a show regular. Will become Hank’s wingman.
- Hank will need to find a new writing project early in season 3 to keep the show interesting.
- Karen will move back after missing Becca.
- Mia’s role will reduce in season 3, but sexual alligations will get Hank in serious trouble.
- Sonia and the goofy writer will be history.
- Charlie will get dumped by Daisy in the first episode and will have to reevaluate his life, and eventually return to Marcy, who will make his life miserable.
- Becca will get into a wild phase and Hank will need to grow up a bit.
- Lots ofprettywomen will throw trhemselves at Hank and he wil return to his old ways.
