Behind the scenes photos from Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Travolta’s new movie
December 30, 2008 by Jillian Cohan
After work on The Tudors’ third season wrapped, the series’ pouty star, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, took off from Ireland, where much of The Tudors is filmed, and joined John Travolta in France for their upcoming buddy action flick, From Paris With Love.
Here are a few on-set photos from the movie, co-written by Luc Besson and directed by Pierre Morel. Filmed in Poissy, near Paris, From Paris with Love sees JRM ditching his Tudors doublets as a young embassy employee and Travolta going bald to play a badass American spy with a devil-may-care attitude.
As buddy movie formula dictates, Jonny Boy gets to play the straight man to Travolta’s testosterone pumped protagonist.
The movie, best known of late for a spate of unfortunate incidents on set, including arson, is set for release in late 2009.
