United States of Tara Season 1, episode 2: “Aftermath”
Scheduled air date: January 25, 2009 on Showtime
After T. and Buck’s appearance in the house, Tara tries to clean up and make amends. Kate gets frustrated when Tara tries to talk to her about sex and Marshall is too embarrassed to have Tara help when he has problems at school. Feeling like she’s failed as a mother, Tara turns into her third alter, Alice, the ultimate 1950s housewife who has a knack for using her Betty Crocker-like demeanor to solve any issue.
In this first clip, Marshall explains the problem he’s having with his English teacher, played by Tony Hale (Buster on Arrested Development and boss-man Emmitt on Chuck).
In the second, Tara and Max talk about her alters returning since she went off her meds.
