If you didn’t already love the show — and, seriously, what’s not to love? — you may fall under the spell of Nurse Jackie with this second installment in Peter Facinelli’s behind-the-scenes video diary.
Turns out the guy who plays Thor is a total ham, while the gal who plays Zoey is remarkably camera shy when she doesn’t have a script to work from. But the best, by far, is the song-and-dance routine at the end of this clip. Enjoy!

We know Peter Facinelli is a multimedia whiz (remember Rob D’s “Single Ladies” dance, which made the YouTube rounds?). Now Showtime’s given the Nurse Jackie star a flipcam and sent him off to capture behind-the-scenes footage for a video diary from the set of the show, which has been filming Season 2.
Here at Showtime Fan HQ, we giggled a bit at P-Fash’s antics (driving the hairdresser crazy, stealing his co-worker’s lunch, teasing Edie Falco for how she memorizes her lines). Check out his diary for yourself, friends. It’s good stuff:

Peter Facinelli turned 36 recently, a milestone that wife Jennie Garth celebrated with a surprise party for the Nurse Jackie and Twilight star.
“I wasn’t even thinking about my birthday, so it was a nice surprise,” Facinelli told OK! magazine this week at the Tribeca Film Institute’s screening of Everybody’s Fine.
Facinelli’s birthday wasn’t the only one in the household, with daughter Lola turning 7 on Sunday.
Facinelli is a great dad to Lola and sisters Luca, 12, and Fiona, 3, Garth told the magazine.

His cute mug keeps getting Weeds star Hunter Parrish noticed on the newsstand.
The 22-year-old actor was featured in a photo spread in People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue this week, earning him the distinction of being one of the “110 of the hottest guys on the planet.” (Nurse Jackie fans will be happy to note that Peter Facinelli also got a shout-out in the issue, as “hottest dad.”)

Here at Showtime Fan HQ, we ~love~ Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Cooper on Nurse Jackie. His character may be a narcissistic boob, but Facinelli himself seems like a great guy.
Our evidence: He makes himself accessible to his fans (they are legion, thanks to his role as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight films), he doesn’t take himself too seriously, he’s all about social media, and, with wife and 90210 star Jennie Garth, he’s managing to raise three daughters in Hollywood without much drama.

Peter Facinelli arrived at the airport in Los Angeles early this week looking paler than most Labor Day travelers.
The Nurse Jackie star explained on his Twitter feed that he’s going to extremes to keep out of the sun for his role in the Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which has been filming in Canada. Natural paleness apparently looks much better than white makeup, hence P-Fach’s efforts to achieve a paper-white complexion.
Twilight isn’t all that’s keeping Facinelli busy. This week he won the Ultimate World Mr. Twitter Worldwide contest, beating celebrity Twitter fanatics including Heroes star Zachary Quinto and American Idol’s Taylor Hicks. …read more

Peter Facinelli, who plays smarmy/charming/clueless Dr. Cooper on Nurse Jackie, needs to keep an eye on his wife.
Jennie Garth recently was quoted in People as saying she’s got a huge crush … on Dr. Cooper!
“He’s so cute, he’s like a little boy, you just want to take him and hug him,” she said, giggling. “And he has a cute little haircut!”
Coop is her favorite of all the characters Facinelli has played, including his more famous doctor role as Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight series, Garth said.

After their Twitter bet culminated in a bikini-clad Rob DeFranco dancing down Hollywood Boulevard to Beyonce’s “All the Single Ladies,” Peter Facinelli sat down with Rob to debrief.
The Nurse Jackie star and bet winner chided his friend for almost hitting a spectator and gave him a good amount of grief for wearing Spanx under his suit. Here’s a video of the interview, conducted while the friends sat on an abandoned couch set out by the curb:

Peter Facinelli sure knows how to win a bet. Here’s the dance of shame footage the Nurse Jackie star posted after his buddy, the defeated Ron DeFranco, shook his booty down Hollywood Boulevard:
DeFranco had bet Facinelli that he couldn’t get to 500,000 Twitter followers in a week.
Facinelli trounced his friend, despite glitches in Twitter’s system, so Peter’s earned a few bragging rights.
Still, was the encore really necessary? That’s a lot of man meat shaking around. Just sayin’.
