Pregnant Billie Piper signs for third season of Secret Diary of a Call Girl

Billie Piper, the British star set to make her Showtime debut with Secret Diary of a Call Girl in mid-June, has signed on for a third season of the racy show, which chronicles the adventures of high-priced hooker Belle de Jour.
News reports say Piper, who is several months pregnant by hubby and actor Lawrence Fox, asked for a body double to shoot nude scenes for Season 2 and may use one again early in Season 3, which is set to film days after she’s due to deliver.
We’ll have to wait for Seasons 2 and 3 to arrives stateside, but Season 1 is due June 16 right after Weeds.

Britain’s Billie Piper, star of the Showtime import Secret Diary of a Call Girl, is expecting a baby with her husband, actor Lawrence Fox. The two, who are tabloid staples across the pond, married this winter. Billie’s first trimester bulge got tongues wagging this week when she was spotted in a bathing suit while vacationing in Mauritius.
A friend of hers confirmed to The Sun newspaper: “Billie and Laurence are both absolutely over the moon. … They can’t wait to be parents to their little Fox.”
Her pregnancy might pose problems for Season 2 of Secret Diary, as Piper’s often filmed in lingerie — or less!
