Happy birthday, Michael C. Hall!
February 1, 2010 by Jillian Cohan
It’s been quite a year for Dexter star Michael C. Hall.
To recap:
Just one month before his 38th birthday, he married co-star Jennifer Carpenter.
Then, he took his character to new levels on Season 4 of Dexter, raising his game to work with guest star John Lithgow.
He also made a splash on the big screen opposite Gerard Butler, all before being diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma.
The cancer treatment didn’t slow him down much, though, with Hall winning two major Hollywood honors — a Golden Globe and a SAG Award.
Through it all, he navigated the media attention surrounding his illness with tact and grace.

Michael C. Hall battles cancer like Dexter goes after bad guys
January 13, 2010 by Jillian Cohan
Worst news of the day: Dexter star Michael C. Hall has cancer.
Slightly better news of the day: It’s in remission.
The 38-year-old star, who plays serial-killer slayer Dexter Morgan on the Showtime series, has been receiving treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, E!’s Uberblog reports.
Hall said doctors caught the disease early, so he was able to get the best treatment.
“I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition,” he said.
Hall’s treatment regimen shouldn’t crimp his award-season style, E! added.

September 6, 2009 by Jillian Cohan
The new season of Dexter is still a few weeks away, but Michael C. Hall fans can get a dose of the actor’s incredible talent this weekend, with the opening of his action film Gamer.
MCH plays Ken Castle, the computer genius who developed the games Society and Slayer, which let players control real people as their avatars. Society let players run a community, but was non-violent (think The Sims). Slayer, on the other hand, is a killing game that uses death row inmates as the avatars. They can earn their freedom if they survive 30 levels of the game — …read more
