Looks like Rose Rollins didn’t keep as close an eye on her finances as she should have. The L Word star filed a lawsuit this week against a man with whom she had a relationship dating back to 2003. In the suit Rollins describes herself and Ramon Cartznes as having a “confidential” relationship.

She’s now broke, Rollins says. She’s suing for $300,000 because over the course of their relationship Cartznes bilked her out of the following:

• More than $84,000 in real estate investments

• Nearly $54,000 he charged on joint credit cards

• More than $22,000 in payments for a luxury SUV

• Almost $7,000 in cell phone bills

• More than $2,000 she put up for expenses for his daughter

Rollins, who shows such grit as soldier girl Tasha on the Showtime series, said in the suit she’s very inexperienced in financial matters. Cartznes, meanwhile, denies all of the claims and says Rollins is slandering his good name. TMZ has the court papers, if you want to read ‘em yourself.

Pam Grier, who kicks ass on The L Word nearly as hard as she did back in her days as blaxploitation icon Foxy Brown, has inked a deal with a major publisher to release her memoir.

The as-yet-untitled book will delve into her multi-decade acting career and allow Grier to reflect on the guys she’s dated, including Richard Pryor and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the co-stars with whom she’s shared the spotlight, such as Robert DeNiro and Samuel L. Jackson.

The book, released under Grand Central Publishing’s Springboard imprint, is expected to drop in 2010.

We loved Elizabeth Keener as scheming club owner Dawn Denbo on last season’s L Word. Now it looks like Ms. Keener has found a lover to rival Cindi, her on-screen sex bunny.

Keener, who’s never publicly said she’s a lesbian, has been spotted on the LA club scene with Jackie Warner, the super-toned personal trainer and star of the Bravo series Work Out. Gossip blogs are reporting that Warner broke up with her bartender girlfriend a few days ago and wasted no time macking on Keener during gay pride weekend.

Note to Elizabeth: Jackie’s romances often end up as fodder for the show. If you want to keep your love life outta the tabloids, she ain’t the one.

That said, the two ladies already appear to use the same hair and wardrobe stylists, so maybe they’re soul mates after all.

Elizabeth Keener, who played the wonderfully villainous Dawn Denbo on the fifth season of The L Word, recently signed a development deal with gay network here!

Keener will play a lesbian FBI agent who goes undercover to a mysterious small town where she finds herself getting involved in the lives of its residents.

She’ll help develop the hourlong drama, which the network describes as Silence of the Lambs meets Twin Peaks. If it has even a smidge of the creativity of those scripts, I’m in.
