Although Jonathan Rhys Meyers bowed out of several press appearances to promote The Tudors new season a few weeks ago, he looks hale and healthy now. Last week when he surprised fans by signing autographs for them at a Britney Spears concert. This week, he showed up on the red carpet at the Los Angeles movie premiere of The Soloist, where the paparazzi shot these pics:

On April 1 and 2, Rhys Meyers skipped appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the Martha Stewart show, in which he was expected to let viewers know what Henry VIII is up to on the new season of The Tudors. His no-shows spawned concern that the recently rehabbed star had fallen off the wagon. His publicist said the cancellations had nothing to do with Jonny Boy’s alcoholism, but rather that he was ill and needed a break because he was exhausted.

When last we saw British pop star-turned-actress Billie Piper she was whippet thin in her skivvies on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. In the intervening months, Billie and husband Lawrence Fox have celebrated an ever-growing baby bump. This week, after 26 hours of labor, Billie had a c-section to produce … 6 lb., 11 oz. bambino Winston James.

Billie delivered the baby on Tuesday, but I held off on this post for a few days hoping to find photos of the new mom and son. Turns out she’ll be in the hospital most of the week recovering, so the best I could do are pics of Lawrence, family and friends on the day of Winston’s birth. You can find them after the jump. Looks like Rose Rollins didn’t keep as close an eye on her finances as she should have. The L Word star filed a lawsuit this week against a man with whom she had a relationship dating back to 2003. In the suit Rollins describes herself and Ramon Cartznes as having a “confidential” relationship.

She’s now broke, Rollins says. She’s suing for $300,000 because over the course of their relationship Cartznes bilked her out of the following:

• More than $84,000 in real estate investments

• Nearly $54,000 he charged on joint credit cards

• More than $22,000 in payments for a luxury SUV

• Almost $7,000 in cell phone bills

• More than $2,000 she put up for expenses for his daughter

Rollins, who shows such grit as soldier girl Tasha on the Showtime series, said in the suit she’s very inexperienced in financial matters. Cartznes, meanwhile, denies all of the claims and says Rollins is slandering his good name. TMZ has the court papers, if you want to read ‘em yourself.

Cybill Shepherd, who as Phyllis terrorized Shane for her dalliance with Molly on Season 5 of The L Word, will make a short guest appearance on Psych, USA Network’s detective comedy, when the show comes back for a new season July 18. She’ll play Shawn’s mother, Madeleine.

When Maddie, who’s never shown in the flashbacks about Shawn and Gus’ youthful antics, comes back from Europe to visit, she apparently ignites emotions and stirs up some trouble.

Her M.O. sounds similar to another Madeline that Shepherd played back in the day — opposite Bruce Willis on Moonlighting.
