Weeds Season 4 cast interviews
May 26, 2008 by Jillian Cohan
As we’ve already discussed here at Showtime Fan, Weeds fourth season will have some notable changes:
• A new location, just north of the Mexican border;
• A new business model for Nancy, who’ll get involved with Guillermo again;
• A few new guest stars: Albert Brooks, as the Botwin boys’ grandfather and Julie Bowen as a cougar who sets her sights on Silas;
• And the loss of Heylia and Conrad as regular cast members (if we’re lucky, they’ll make guest appearances).
Now, the cast walks us through the new set and explains some of the other drama we can expect when Season 4 premieres next month. Check it out:

When next we’ll meet up with Nancy Botwin and her merry band of pot peddlers, it will be in a much different place. In its announcement of Weeds Season 4, Showtime reveals that Nance and the rest of her crew have fled Agrestic for fictional beach town Ren Mar, near San Diego and the Mexican border. There, she’ll re-team with Guillermo to grow her business on both sides of the border. She’ll open a new front business that’s “pregnant with possibilities.”
The network promises that even with a new location, new friends and a new love interest for Nancy, the show will retain its trademark dark humor.
Adding to its rep for bringing the funny, the show has signed Albert Brooks to play Len Botwin, Nancy’s estranged father-in-law for at least a four episode arc, according to The Ausiello Report.
Season 4 debuts June 16!
